Katie Martin

Dr. Katie Martin is an educator, author, and co-founder and co-CEO of Learner-Centered Collaborative. She has worked as a middle school English language arts teacher, instructional coach, and district teacher-mentoring program leader, and holds a master’s degree in education and a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction.

Martin is the author of Learner-Centered Innovation: Spark Curiosity, Ignite Passion, and Unleash Genius and Evolving Education: Shifting to a Learner-Centered Paradigm. She has also taught in the graduate school of education at High Tech High and supports educators in designing learning experiences that empower students.
