Kelly Boswell

Kelly Boswell is a literacy educator, author, and educational consultant with extensive experience supporting teachers and students in writing instruction. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she has worked as a classroom teacher, staff developer, literacy coach, district literacy specialist, instructional coach, and university instructor, partnering with schools and districts across the United States to strengthen classroom management, boost student engagement, and develop joyful, effective literacy practices.

Boswell is the author of Every Kid a Writer: Strategies That Get Everyone Writing, a professional book for educators that offers field-tested strategies to help all students write with energy and confidence. She is also the author of Write This Way and Write This Way From the Start, and the coauthor of Crafting Nonfiction and Reading Solutions (also referred to as Solutions for Reading Comprehension), along with several nonfiction children’s books.
