Kelsee G. Young

Kelsee G. Young is a special education preschool teacher and coauthor of The Metacognitive Preschooler: How to Teach Academic, Social, and Emotional Intelligence to Your Youngest Students. She taught at Moss School in Metuchen, New Jersey, beginning in 2020 and has presented on structured SELf-questioning at Rider University. Young has also served as a ClassDojo mentor and participated in Metuchen School District special education and school leadership committees.

Young earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood special education from Kean University and a master’s degree in special education focused on autism and developmental disabilities from William Paterson University. She received the Moss School Teacher of the Year Award for the 2023–2024 school year.
