Kerry Aradhya
Kerry Aradhya is a children’s author and science writer and editor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She majored in biology in college and studied cell and molecular biology in graduate school before transitioning from laboratory work to science writing and editing. Over more than two decades, she has written and edited scientific and medical materials—including journal articles, grants, white papers, newsletters, and educational resources—for health professionals and organizations focused on cancer, global public health, and patient access to genetic information.
As a children’s author, Aradhya is the author of the picture book biography Ernő Rubik and His Magic Cube (Peachtree, 2024), her debut picture book, illustrated by Kara Kramer. She has also written more than a dozen poems published in children’s magazines such as Babybug, Ladybug, and Highlights High Five. In addition to her work with words, she is described as a dancer, and she enjoys “puzzling over words” and immersing herself in the creative process.
