Khadra Mohammed

Khadra Mohammed is a Somali author and refugee advocate who coauthored Four Feet, Two Sandals with Karen Lynn Williams. She was born in Yemen to Somali parents and has worked with refugee communities for more than 20 years, including service in refugee camps in Pakistan, Kenya, and Yemen.

Mohammed served as executive director of the Pittsburgh Refugee Center from 2003 to 2015. Her published works include Four Feet, Two Sandals (2007) and My Name Is Sangoel, both coauthored with Karen Lynn Williams.
