Kim Bailey is a retired director of professional learning and instructional support for the Capistrano Unified School District in California. Her work focused on supporting educators in the district’s schools as they developed professional learning communities, and she has also taught educational leadership as an adjunct faculty member at Chapman University in Orange, California.
She is the coauthor of Common Formative Assessment: A Toolkit for Professional Learning Communities at Work® (second edition) with Chris Jakicic, Simplifying Common Assessment: A Guide for Professional Learning Communities at Work with Chris Jakicic, and Make It Happen: Coaching With the Four Critical Questions of PLCs at Work® with Chris Jakicic. Available biographical sources also state that she earned both a bachelor of science and a master of science in education and special education from Northern Illinois University.
