Kimberly Gibbons

Kimberly Gibbons, PhD, is Associate Director of the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement at the University of Minnesota. Before that, she served as Executive Director of the St. Croix River Education District in Minnesota, where she was named Outstanding Administrator of the Year by the Minnesota Administrators of Special Education and later served as president of that organization.

Gibbons has provided national consultation on response to intervention and data-based decision making and has authored multiple publications in the field, including Effective Universal Instruction: An Action-Oriented Approach to Improving Tier 1 with Sarah Brown and Bradley C. Niebling, as well as RTI Applications, Volume 2: Assessment, Analysis, and Decision Making with T. Chris Riley-Tillman and Matthew K. Burns.
