Kristina A. Holzweiss
Kristina A. Holzweiss is a high school educational technology librarian on Long Island, New York, and she began her teaching career in 1995. She holds New York State certifications in secondary English, educational technology, school library media, and computer science, and has been recognized as School Library Journal’s 2015 School Librarian of the Year.
Holzweiss is the coauthor of Hacking School Libraries: 10 Ways to Incorporate Library Media Centers into Your Learning Community and has also written multiple makerspace books, along with My First Book of Trains and My First Book of Airplanes. Her online biography also notes honors including Library Journal Mover & Shaker, New York School Librarian of the Year, and National School Board “20 to Watch” Emerging Education Technology Leader.
