Laura Knight

Laura Knight is a digital learning and innovation expert with around twenty years’ experience as a teacher and education leader, working across both maintained and independent schools. She is Director of Digital Learning at Berkhamsted School in the UK, where she leads the strategic development of technology for teaching and learning. Knight is also the founder of Sapio Ltd, through which she works with schools and organisations as a consultant, coach, keynote speaker, and trainer on educational technology and AI.

Recognised as a digital education and AI thought leader, Knight is a founding member of the Bourne–Epsom Protocol, a national cross-sector working group on AI in education. Her book A Little Guide for Teachers: Generative AI in the Classroom (First Edition) provides practical, classroom-focused guidance to help teachers use generative AI responsibly and creatively, including support for planning, workload, creativity, and ethical use of AI.
