Lauren Hobbs is an educator and coauthor of Personalizing Learning Through Voice and Choice, a practical guide that introduces key concepts of personalized learning and outlines structures that empower student voice and choice from kindergarten through grade 12. She wrote the book with Adam Garry and Amos Fodchuk, focusing on what personalized learning looks and feels like in classrooms and how it can increase student motivation and engagement.
Hobbs has worked as a teacher, school leader, and district leader, and later served as a K–12 education strategist and leader for professional learning and creative solutions at Dell EMC, where she supported inquiry-based, student-centered learning initiatives in large school districts. According to Dell’s education strategist profile, she holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in elementary education and curriculum from a university in Florida, and she has also written articles for state education agencies.
