Lauren Kenworthy

Lauren Kenworthy, PhD, is a psychologist and researcher specializing in autism, executive function, and neuropsychological assessment. She is director of the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders and chief of neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital, and a professor of neurology, pediatrics, and psychiatry at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Kenworthy earned a BA in English from Yale University and a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her published work includes Unstuck and On Target!: An Executive Function Curriculum to Improve Flexibility for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Unstuck and On Target!: An Executive Function Curriculum to Improve Flexibility, Planning, and Organization, and Unstuck & On Target! Ages 11–15: An Executive Function Curriculum to Support Flexibility, Planning, and Organization.
