Leslie Dietiker
Leslie Dietiker is an associate professor of mathematics education at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development, where she also serves as associate dean for research. Her background includes a PhD in mathematics education from Michigan State University and a BS in mathematics from California Polytechnic State University, and she previously taught high school mathematics and computer science in San Francisco for 17 years.
Dietiker’s research focuses on how teachers use mathematics curriculum materials and on improving the mathematical experiences of secondary students. She is the lead author and editor of several middle- and high-school mathematics textbooks through CPM Educational Program, and she coauthored Good Questions for Math Teaching, High School: Why Ask Them and What to Ask with Gregg Reilly and Nancy C. Anderson.
