Linda C. Venenciano

Linda C. Venenciano is a professor of education at Pacific University, where she teaches and supports preservice teachers in mathematics education from early childhood through high school. She is a mathematics educator with a PhD in educational psychology and a former classroom teacher who has taught mathematics from first grade through the undergraduate level. Her work focuses on mathematics curriculum development, early algebraic thinking, and professional development aligned with the Common Core Standards for Mathematical Practice.

Venenciano is the author or coauthor of numerous peer‑reviewed publications and books, including Classroom-Ready Rich Algebra Tasks, Grades 6–12: Engaging Students in Doing Math (Corwin, 2023), coauthored with Barbara J. Dougherty. She has contributed to projects such as Measure Up and M^Power: A Path to Understanding Algebra, and her research on early algebraic and relational thinking has been published in venues such as Educational Studies in Mathematics and ERIC-indexed journals.
