Lisa Ann Cranston
Lisa Ann Cranston is a retired educator and author of Lab Class: Professional Learning Through Collaborative Inquiry and Student Observation. She has over thirty years of experience in education, including teaching kindergarten through grade 4, working as an instructional coach for literacy and mathematics, and serving as an educational consultant for kindergarten and primary grades.
Cranston developed the Lab Class model with colleagues while working as a curriculum consultant, and she has also provided induction support for new teachers and their mentors. Her professional background includes an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Western University, a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies from the University of Windsor, and an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Ryerson University.
