Lisa Ann Johnson
Lisa Ann Johnson is an educator, educational technologist, and author who has spent more than two decades in education, working with students and teachers in roles that include teaching middle school math and high school English, developing technology integration curricula, and running technology integration camps. She has also served as an Educational Technologist in a 1:1 iPad high school and K–12 district, designing and supporting technology-rich learning environments. Johnson holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology and has been recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator and PBS Digital Innovator, presenting keynotes and workshops on instructional design, digital portfolios, research and curation, slide design, and college- and career-readiness skills.
Under the moniker TechChef4u, Johnson is the author of Creatively Productive: Essential Skills for Tackling Time Wasters, Clearing the Clutter, and Succeeding in School—and Life! and Cultivating Communication in the Classroom: Future-Ready Skills for Secondary Students, as well as a contributor to multiple other education titles and companion resources. Her work focuses on helping educators design authentic, future-ready learning experiences that build students’ communication, organization, and productivity skills, particularly through the purposeful integration of technology and the 4Cs: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.[
