Lisa M. Estrada

Lisa Estrada is a retired educator and author specializing in English learner education and technology integration. According to Sage Publishing, she most recently served as Supervisor of English as a New Language, Bilingual Education, and World Language Programs at Hicksville Public Schools in New York and was also an adjunct professor in the Molloy College Clinically-Rich Intensive Teacher Institute. Her background includes more than 30 years of experience in ESL and bilingual education, along with a master’s degree in TESOL from Adelphi University and a professional diploma in school district administration.

Estrada co-authored ELL Frontiers: Using Technology to Enhance Instruction for English Learners (2017) and contributed to Digital Age Teaching for English Learners in The Handbook of TESOL in K–12 (2019). She is also a co-author of Digital-Age Teaching for English Learners: A Guide to Equitable Learning for All Students (2022) with Heather Rubin and Andrea Honigsfeld.
