Lisa Murphy

Lisa Murphy, MEd, is an early childhood educator, author, and presenter who has been involved in early childhood education for over 30 years, teaching and working with children in settings that include Head Start, kindergarten, and private programs. She is the founder and CEO of Ooey Gooey, Inc., and is widely known as “the Ooey Gooey Lady” for her advocacy of child-centered, play-based early childhood environments and full-body, sensory learning experiences. Murphy is a nationally and internationally recognized keynote speaker and trainer, presenting hundreds of workshops on play-based practice and child-centered environments for educators in the United States and abroad.
