Lore Carrera-Carrillo

Lore Carrera-Carrillo is a dual language program consultant and coauthor of 7 Steps to Success in Dual Language Immersion: A Brief Guide for Teachers & Administrators, published by Heinemann in 2006. She has served as an educator, school-site administrator, and director of English language learner programs in the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Her scholarly work includes a qualitative comparison study of programs for English language learner students in Texas, completed as her dissertation. 7 Steps to Success in Dual Language Immersion has been cited in professional literature and implementation guides for two-way and dual language programs, underscoring her contribution to practical frameworks for dual language immersion.
