Lori Cohen

Lori Cohen is an educator, author, and professional learning designer with more than two decades of experience in public and independent schools as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, school leader, consultant, and workshop facilitator. She is co-author of The PD Book: 7 Habits that Transform Professional Development, published by Jossey-Bass/John Wiley & Sons in 2022, which offers practical tools and habits for designing and facilitating transformational professional development for educators.

Cohen’s expertise centers on teacher and leadership development, lesson design, instructional coaching, educator growth and evaluation, and assessment. In addition to The PD Book, she is a contributing author to The Art of Coaching Workbook (2020) and co-author of Integrating Educator Well-Being, Growth, and Evaluation: Four Foundations for Leaders (2025), and she is also co-authoring a forthcoming book on transformative lesson design for ASCD.
