Lucy Jo Palladino

Lucy Jo Palladino, PhD, is a psychologist, author, educator, and attention expert. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and master’s and doctoral degrees from Arizona State University, followed by clinical psychology training at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She served on the clinical faculty of the University of Arizona Medical School and conducted research supported by a National Institutes of Health grant.

Palladino is the author of Dreamers, Discoverers & Dynamos: How to Help the Child Who Is Bright, Bored, and Having Problems in School, originally published as The Edison Trait. Her other books include Find Your Focus Zone: An Effective New Program to Defeat Distraction and Overload and Parenting in the Age of Attention Snatchers: A Step-by-Step Guide to Balancing Your Child’s Use of Technology.
