Madeline Whitaker Good
Madeline Whitaker Good is an educator and co-author of Your First Year: How to Survive and Thrive as a New Teacher, written with Todd Whitaker and Katherine Whitaker. She has taught at both the elementary and middle school levels and has worked as a middle school teacher in Springfield, Missouri.
Whitaker Good earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Child Studies from Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University, where she received the Dorothy J. Skeel Award for Outstanding Professional Promise in Elementary Education. She completed a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri–Columbia, along with elementary and secondary principal certification, and has pursued doctoral study in educational leadership and policy analysis at the University of Missouri.
