Maia Heyck-Merlin

Maia Heyck-Merlin is the founder and CEO of The Together Group and the author of several practical guides on organization and time management for educators and mission-driven leaders, including The Together Teacher: Plan Ahead, Get Organized, and Save Time and The Together Leader: Get Organized for Your Success – and Sanity!. A former fourth- and fifth-grade teacher and Teach For America corps member in southern Louisiana, she was named Teacher of the Year at Delmont Elementary and received a Fulbright Memorial Fund award, later serving as Executive Director and Institute Director at Teach For America and as Chief Talent Officer and Chief Operating Officer for the Achievement First charter network.

A native of rural Maine, Heyck-Merlin holds a B.A. in Child Development from Tufts University, where she served as president of the Leonard Carmichael Society. Through The Together Group, she designs and delivers trainings on time management, prioritization, organization, and efficiency for teachers, school leaders, and nonprofit professionals, and is recognized as a nationally sought-after trainer in education and nonprofit settings.
