Maja Wilson

Maja Wilson is the author of Read Write Teach: Choice and Challenge in the Reading-Writing Workshop and Reimagining Writing Assessment: From Scales to Stories. Her earlier book, Rethinking Rubrics in Writing Assessment (2006), is listed by Heinemann and is noted as having won the NCTE James Britton Award in 2007.

Available sources describe Wilson as a high school English teacher, and one source notes that she was teaching in Ludington, Michigan, while working on Responsive Writing Assessment. Reimagining Writing Assessment was published by Heinemann in 2018.
