Manuel S. Herrara

Manuel S. Herrera is an illustrator, international speaker, and veteran educator known for his work at the intersection of visual thinking and learning. He serves as a creative strategist and presenter who helps people explore and communicate ideas through drawing and visual storytelling, and he is widely recognized for his sketchnoting and “infodoodling” approach to making complex ideas accessible.

Herrera is the illustrator of Whole Child, Whole Life: 10 Ways to Help Kids Live, Learn, & Thrive, collaborating with author Stephanie Malia Krauss to visually depict the book’s whole child framework and practices. He has also illustrated additional books and educational publications for a variety of organizations, publishers, and schools. Herrera holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University and a BBA in Management from Texas State University.
