Marcia B Imbeau
Marcia B. Imbeau is a professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Arkansas, where she works in teacher preparation and teaches courses in gifted education, classroom management, and curriculum design. She has more than 40 years of experience in education, including classroom teaching in public schools, coordination of university-based enrichment programs, and work as a university liaison with local schools.
She coauthored Leading and Managing a Differentiated Classroom with Carol Ann Tomlinson and has also coauthored The Parallel Curriculum and How to Use Differentiated Instruction With Students with Disabilities in the General Education Classroom. Her work focuses on differentiation and meeting the diverse learning needs of students.
