Marcus Kwame Anderson

Marcus Kwame Anderson is a Jamaican-born illustrator, fine artist, and cartoonist who moved to upstate New York as a child. He earned a degree in illustration from SUNY Fredonia and says his work often explores the beauty and diversity of the African diaspora, with social commentary running through much of his art.

Anderson is the co-creator of the comic series Snow Daze and has illustrated Cash and Carrie, The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History with David F. Walker, and Big Jim and the White Boy: An American Classic Reimagined, his latest graphic novel collaboration with Walker.
