Marie Bergeron

Marie Bergeron is a Canadian illustrator and graphic designer from Montreal, born in 1985, who created the interior illustrations for Tales to Keep You Up at Night by Dan Poblocki. After studying cinematography, she went on to attend the École de design, later working as a freelancer and building a portfolio that led to projects in publishing and entertainment illustration.

Bergeron has also illustrated the sequel More Tales to Keep You Up at Night, further establishing her role in middle-grade horror and spooky story collections. In interviews, she has cited films and games as key influences on her visual style and has noted that several years of study in graphic design helped her refine her sense of composition and the impact of a well-executed image.
