Marsha McCracken Voigt

Marsha McCracken Voigt is an educator and author with thirty years of experience as a diagnostician and teacher, working with students from kindergarten through college who have struggled with literacy. She now focuses on professional development, serving as a consultant and literacy coach supporting schools and educators in strengthening literacy instruction and leadership.

Voigt is coauthor of Disciplinary Literacy in Action: How to Create and Sustain a School-Wide Culture of Deep Reading, Writing, and Thinking, which outlines frameworks and practices for building collaborative, school-wide cultures of deep reading, writing, and thinking across subject areas. She has also coauthored related professional resources and companion materials for disciplinary literacy and leadership teams with ReLeah Cossett Lent.
