Martin Renton is an education consultant, author, and speaker specializing in classroom questioning, dialogue, and the development of students’ language of learning. He is a co‑author of Challenging Learning Through Dialogue: Strategies to Engage Your Students and Develop Their Language of Learning (Corwin, 2017), written with James Nottingham and Jill Nottingham, and the sole author of Challenging Learning Through Questioning: Facilitating the Process of Effective Learning (Corwin Teaching Essentials). His work focuses on practical strategies that teachers can use to improve the quality of classroom interaction, deepen thinking, and better engage students in their learning.
Renton serves in a senior role with Challenging Learning, where he leads consultancy and evaluation work and is recognized as a highly sought‑after keynote speaker, facilitator, and coach.
