Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson is a high school English language arts teacher from Ann Arbor, Michigan, as well as an author, writer, and speaker focused on effective and sustainable writing instruction and feedback practices. He is the author of Flash Feedback: Responding to Student Writing Better and Faster – Without Burning Out, Good Grammar [Grades 6–12]: Joyful and Affirming Language Lessons That Work for More Students, and a co‑author of Answers to Your Biggest Questions About Teaching Middle and High School ELA: Five to Thrive, all published by Corwin in its literacy and teacher support lines.
