Megan N. Gross is a special education teacher and inclusion specialist based in San Diego, California, and the co-author of The Inclusion Toolbox: Strategies and Techniques for All Teachers (Corwin Press), a comprehensive resource for K–12 educators seeking to implement effective inclusive practices. She has extensive experience facilitating inclusion for students with mild to severe disabilities at both the elementary and secondary levels, with particular focus on autism spectrum disorder classrooms and access to general education curricula.
Gross was named 2017 California Teacher of the Year and was a finalist for the National Teacher of the Year award, recognized for her work helping students with significant disabilities succeed in academically challenging general education settings. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, and her special education teaching credential from California State University, Sacramento, and has also co-authored the educator resource ParaEducate in addition to The Inclusion Toolbox.
