Megan Wagner Lloyd

Megan Wagner Lloyd is an Eisner-nominated writer of bestselling graphic novels and other books for children. She is the author of the kids’ graphic novels Allergic and Squished, co-created with illustrator Michelle Mee Nutter, as well as Super Pancake, co-created with illustrator Abhi Alwar. Her graphic novels have received multiple honors, including state readers’ choice awards, Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selections, and recognition on best-of lists from organizations such as the American Library Association and School Library Journal.

In addition to graphic novels, Lloyd writes picture books and middle-grade fiction. Her works include the picture books Finding Wild and Fort-Building Time, illustrated by Abigail Halpin, Building Books, illustrated by Brianne Farley, and Paper Mice, illustrated by Phoebe Wahl, as well as the novel Haven: A Small Cat’s Big Adventure, a Magnolia Book Award winner. She also authored The Creative Writing Playbook, a creative writing and drawing activity book for kids. Megan Wagner Lloyd lives with her family in the Washington, DC area.
