Meghan Gregoire-Smith, MA, is a multilingual learner coach at SupportEd and coauthor of Unlocking Multilingual Learners’ Potential: Strategies for Making Content Accessible (2nd Edition), alongside Diane Staehr Fenner and Sydney Snyder. In her role at SupportEd, she coaches educators of multilingual learners and designs and facilitates interactive professional development focused on making grade-level content accessible for multilingual students.
Gregoire-Smith began her career teaching English as a foreign language to young adults in Guayaquil, Ecuador, later working as an English language development (ELD) teacher and teacher specialist in U.S. schools. Her classroom and coaching experience inform the practical, research-backed strategies presented in Unlocking Multilingual Learners’ Potential. She holds a Master’s degree in TESOL from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
