Melinda Clark
Melinda Clark is an Academic Program Coordinator at John Jay High School in San Antonio, Texas, where she supports teaching and learning in a Title I high school. She has worked in education for more than 30 years, including experience teaching middle school and high school English language arts, serving as an instructional coach, working as an independent consultant, and presenting at the district, regional, and state levels.
Clark is a coauthor of Patterns of Power, Grades 6–8: Inviting Adolescent Writers into the Conventions of Language, a grammar and writing resource that uses an invitational, inquiry-based approach to help adolescent writers explore the conventions of English. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Angelo State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with principal certification from Lamar University.
