Melissa Jenkins

Melissa C. Jenkins, PhD, is vice president of curriculum and instruction for 2Teach Global, an educational consulting company focused on inclusive education. She previously served as an assistant professor of education at the University of Mary Washington, where she taught graduate and undergraduate courses in educational foundations and special education. Jenkins also brings experience as a special education teacher, instructional coach, and central-office administrator in Virginia public schools.

Jenkins is coauthor, with Wendy W. Murawski, of Connecting High-Leverage Practices to Student Success: Collaboration in Inclusive Classrooms (Corwin, 2024). Her professional interests include collaborative practices, early mathematics intervention, positive behavioral support, and inclusive education; she has also coauthored Assessment in Special Education: Practical Applications for Teachers, book chapters, and articles in educational journals.
