Melissa R. Carli is an educator and author specializing in elementary mathematics and literacy instruction. She coauthored Making Sense of Mathematics for Teaching the Small Group with Juli K. Dixon and Lisa A. Brooks, contributing to practical strategies for differentiating small-group math instruction in elementary classrooms. She is also a coauthor of Small Groups for Big Readers: Ten Questions Answered About Core Reading Instruction in the K–5 Classroom, which focuses on implementing evidence-based small-group reading instruction for young learners.
Carli holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education, all earned with academic honors.
