Michael Dahl

Michael Dahl is a U.S. children’s and young-adult author born in 1954. He has written more than 100 books, including On the Launch Pad: A Counting Book About Rockets and Toasty Toes: Counting by Tens, and his work spans nonfiction, fantasy, mystery, and horror for young readers.

His best-known series include Finnegan Zwake, The Library of Doom, and Dragonblood, and publisher and retailer bios identify him as the Editorial Director for Stone Arch Books based in Minneapolis. Some bios also note that his nonfiction has won the AEP Distinguished Achievement Award three times and that he has spoken at schools, libraries, bookstores, and conferences in the U.S. and U.K.
