Michael S. Kuczala (often published as Mike Kuczala) is an internationally recognized educator and consultant specializing in movement, engagement, and learning, known for his work in creating kinesthetic classrooms that integrate physical movement with academic instruction. He is the coauthor of The Kinesthetic Classroom: Teaching and Learning through Movement, a Corwin bestseller and Association of Educational Publishers’ Distinguished Achievement Award nominee, and the author or coauthor of several related titles, including Training in Motion: How to Use Movement to Create an Engaging and Effective Learning Environment, Ready, Set, Go!: The Kinesthetic Classroom 2.0, and The Peak Performing Teacher: 5 Habits for Success.
Kuczala serves as President of Kuczala Consulting and has held leadership roles with the Regional Training Center, a graduate education provider in the Mid-Atlantic region. His keynotes, professional development programs, and graduate courses on movement and learning have reached educators and trainers across multiple continents and a wide range of educational and corporate organizations. Trained as a musician, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Kutztown University and a Master of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and began his career as a band and choral director in Colorado and Pennsylvania before focusing
