Michele A. Herold

Michele A. Herold is an author and integrated preschool teacher in the Metuchen School District in New Jersey, where she has worked since 2018. She is also an active member of her school leadership team and has provided training on social-emotional learning and metacognition at the district, national, and international levels.

Her published book The Metacognitive Preschooler: How to Teach Academic, Social, and Emotional Intelligence to Your Youngest Students was coauthored with Richard K. Cohen, Emily R. Peluso, Katie Upshaw, and Kelsee G. Young. The book has received recognition including a Silver award in the Education I category from the Independent Publisher Book Awards.
