Michele DiPietro
Michele DiPietro, PhD, is Executive Director for Faculty Development, Recognition, and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, as well as a Professor in the School of Data Science and Analytics at Kennesaw State University. He is a co-author of How Learning Works: Seven Research-Based Principles for Smart Teaching (2010) and its updated second edition, How Learning Works: Eight Research-Based Principles for Smart Teaching (2023), both published by Jossey-Bass/Wiley.
In addition to his work on learning science and pedagogy, DiPietro is the author of The Faculty Guide to a Balanced and Harmonious Career: Yogic Strategies for Self-growth and Fulfillment, reflecting his interests in well-being and professional development for educators.
