Michelle L. Trujillo is a lifelong educator, co-founder of the Center for Learning and Well-Being, and an educational consultant and former high school principal. Corwin describes her as a speaker and workshop facilitator focused on school culture and climate, social and emotional learning, and restorative practice, and notes that she was named Nevada’s 2016 Innovative Educator of the Year.
Her published books include Start with the Heart: Igniting Hope in Schools Through Social and Emotional Learning (2019), Social Emotional Well-Being for Educators (2022), and Chicken Soup for the Soul Presents Teens Talkin’ Faith. Corwin also credits her with helping educators build positive school culture through connection, SEL, and practical strategies.
