Miriam Beloglovsky, MA, is a professor of early childhood education at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, California, where she has advised and guided students for over 25 years. An educator, author, and advocate for early childhood education, she is best known for her work promoting Loose Parts play theory, emphasizing how open-ended materials support children’s curiosity, imagination, and learning. She is also a sought‑after public speaker and CEO of Playful Transformation, a company dedicated to advocating for the right to play.
Beloglovsky is the co‑author of the award‑winning Loose Parts series, including Loose Parts: Inspiring Play in Young Children, which helped spark international conversations about the importance of loose parts in play and has received multiple awards such as the Tillywig Toy and Media Award and the Teacher’s Choice Award.
