Miriam Hathaway

Miriam Hathaway is a writer, editor, and author based in Olympia, Washington. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Puget Sound and a certificate in book publishing from the University of Denver’s Denver Publishing Institute. Before writing full time, she worked in publishing across editing, marketing, product development, and project management, and she has more than 15 years of professional experience.

Hathaway has authored more than 30 books, including children’s books, gift books, and guided journals. Her published works include Teacher, I Made You a Book, Hey Friend, I Wrote a Book About You, You’re a Good Human, Letters to You, You Are My Favorite Person, and Welcome, Baby.
