Mitch Weathers
Mitch Weathers is a teacher, founder of Organized Binder, Inc., and an author focused on building students’ executive functioning skills in K–12 classrooms. He is the author of Executive Functions for Every Classroom, Grades 3–12: Creating Safe and Predictable Learning Environments and coauthor of Executive Functions for Every K–3 Classroom: Promoting Self-Regulation for a Strong Start, a K–12 series on embedding executive function instruction into daily classroom routines. Through Organized Binder, he works with K–12 schools and colleges in the United States and internationally to help educators implement practical systems that support organization, planning, time management, and self-regulation for all students.
A veteran educator based in Northern California, Weathers has taught high school science, including at Sequoia High School in Redwood City, California, where he has also served as science department chair. He is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker on executive functioning in the classroom, known for translating findings from brain science into classroom-ready routines and tools. In addition to his writing and consulting, he is an avid trail runner and ultramarathoner and lives with his wife and two daughters in Northern California.
