Monica Werner

Monica Adler Werner, M.A., is a program director for development, training, and consulting at The Ivymount School in the Washington, D.C., area, where she also works as a parent coach supporting families of neurodivergent children. She previously served as director of Ivymount’s Model Asperger Program, where she led the development of a social learning curriculum emphasizing problem solving, self-advocacy, and self-regulation while maintaining students’ academic progress.

Werner is a coauthor of the evidence-based executive function curricula Unstuck and On Target!: An Executive Function Curriculum to Improve Flexibility, Planning, and Organization and Unstuck and On Target! Ages 14–22: An Executive Function Curriculum to Support Flexibility, Planning, and Organization. She also coauthored Solving Executive Function Challenges: Simple Ways to Get Kids with Autism Unstuck and on Target and has contributed to multiple papers and conference posters on interventions for children with Asperger syndrome and high-functioning autism.
