Morgane Michael
Morgane Michael is a Canadian educator, author, and speaker based in Victoria, British Columbia. Since 2008, she has worked as an elementary school educator with the Greater Victoria School District, focusing on social-emotional learning, kindness education, and educator well-being. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Victoria and a master’s degree in educational leadership. Michael also leads professional development initiatives for educators and is the creator and founder of the Small Act Big Impact 21-Day Kindness Challenge, which promotes safe and supportive school culture.
She is the author of From Burnt Out to Fired Up: Reigniting Your Passion for Teaching, which offers research-based strategies and a five-part framework—reflect, reframe, refocus, reconnect, and reveal—to help teachers prevent and recover from burnout. In addition, Michael has authored A Blueprint for Belonging: Building a Positive School Culture From the Ground Up, providing practical, research-backed strategies to foster belonging in schools and workplaces. She is also the producer and host of the educational podcast KindSight 101.
