Nancy H. Aaberg
Nancy H. Aaberg is a coauthor of Math Stories for Problem Solving Success: Ready-to-Use Activities Based on Real-Life Situations, Grades 6–12, published in its second edition by Jossey-Bass in 2008 alongside James L. Overholt and James Lindsey. She also coauthored the earlier edition, Math Stories for Problem Solving Success: Ready-to-Use Activities for Grades 7–12, published in 1990. These books provide classroom-ready, real-world math scenarios designed to help middle and high school students develop problem-solving skills through practical applications of mathematics.
Aaberg holds an M.Ed. degree and has over 30 years of experience as a public school educator. She has served as Superintendent of Schools for the Yuba City Unified School District in Yuba City, California, a role in which she is cited in educational materials and book endorsements, particularly in the context of promoting effective, engaging math instruction.
