Nancy Love
Nancy Love is a program director at Research for Better Teaching (RBT) in Acton, Massachusetts and a leading expert in school data use and professional development. She is the former director of the National Science Foundation–funded Using Data Project, a collaboration between TERC and WestEd that developed a comprehensive professional development program to help educators use multiple data sources collaboratively to improve teaching and learning.
Love is the lead author of The Data Coach’s Guide to Improving Learning for All Students: Unleashing the Power of Collaborative Inquiry, published by Corwin in 2008, co‑authored with Katherine E. Stiles, Susan Mundry, and Kathryn DiRanna. She has also authored Using Data to Improve Learning for All: A Collaborative Inquiry Approach and coauthored Designing Professional Development for Teachers of Science and Mathematics (Third Edition), among other publications focused on data-informed instruction and effective professional development for educators.
