Nancy Samalin

Nancy Samalin is a parent educator, author, and the founder and director of Parent Guidance Workshops, which she established in 1976. She has presented lectures and workshops to parents and professionals worldwide and was a contributing editor to Parents magazine, where she wrote a regular column on discipline.

Samalin is the author of Loving Your Child Is Not Enough: Positive Discipline That Works, as well as Love and Anger: The Parental Dilemma and Loving Each One Best, co-authored with Catherine Whitney. She also co-authored Loving without Spoiling: And 100 Other Timeless Tips for Raising Terrific Kids.
