Nathaniel Provencio
Nathaniel Provencio is an award‑winning educational leader, author, and consultant with more than two decades of experience in public education. He has served as a classroom teacher, school principal, and associate superintendent, including work as Associate Superintendent of Prince William County Public Schools, where he was previously principal of Minnieville Elementary School. As principal, he was recognized as The Washington Post Principal of the Year and Virginia Principal of the Year, reflecting his leadership in family and community engagement and school improvement.
Provencio is the author of Community Connections and Your PLC at Work®: A Guide to Engaging Families (A Guide to School Community Involvement in a PLC), which focuses on using the professional learning community (PLC) framework to strengthen family and community partnerships in schools. In addition to his writing, he is a national school leadership consultant, TEDx speaker, and host of The Community Connection, an educational leadership podcast that features authors, thought leaders, and innovators discussing school culture, PLCs, and effective practices for ensuring high levels of learning for all students.
